Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an accomplished M&A analyst to support senior members of a team primarily focused on buy-side M&A origination and execution for A&D industry leading corporations and financial sponsors. A competitive candidate will possess:

  • A passion for and experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector
  • Strong prior experience in execution across the M&A lifecycle – corporate development, investment banking, or private equity backgrounds preferred
  • Combination of public and private valuation capabilities and deep M&A opportunity evaluation skills

Primary day-to-day responsibilities – M&A Analyst

  • Analyzing and validating business plans to produce informed expectations of future cash flows
  • Producing cash flow-based valuation models and detailed comps analysis
  • Supporting both sellside and buyside processes with marketing materials and investment rationale
  • Delivering reports and findings to leadership of major A&D corporations and PE fund

Required qualifications

        RSAdvisors are undertaking a spring internship programme offering the opportunity for a candidate to join our UK team to gain experience in consultancy and the aerospace & defence industries. The role is ideally suited to a postgraduate student or recent graduate pursuing or having completed a programme within War Studies, Security Studies, Public Policy, International Studies or similar. Successful candidates must demonstrate:

        • Interest in and enthusiasm for defence technology, its usage and application
        • Understanding of the context of modern military operations
